Exchange Students - Hosting

We have 12 more days with our exchange daughter! The last two months have been extremely good. As the time gets closer for her to leave, she seems to have become entrenched in our lives. She won't talk about leaving. She is also trying to cram as much as she can in the days. She is happy, that I do know. Last week she went to a prom at another school, next week her schools prom will be on Saturday. Today she went to a wedding shower for one of her school friends that is getting married as soon as school is over. The last two days she has called me "Dude." Seems to be a part of her new vocabulary. LOL
The permanent daughter has applied for a passport. They have been busy making plans for her to visit this summer. I am trying to make that possible but the time is getting close for all plans to get finalized. We need visas and can't get them until the passport gets her.
My husband is even talking about how hard this is going to be. So sad...to think of her not being here...

The exchange organization we host high school students through is CIEE

Blogging Ughs!!

I don't think lightening actually struck but the blogger was down. I have actually gotten to post every day or nearly every day lately. But, for two days I haven't been able to blog if when I had a moment! First I couldn't get to the site at all and than I was able to view the page but not post anything. The page would go to a blogger page saying they were working on the problem. Hello, World!

Cottonelle Deal!

I believe this deal needs to be done before 5/13
I did this deal yesterday. The picture is not the best because we needed toilet paper and the girls got to it before I could get the picture.
I have to tell you that I absolutely hate paying for toilet paper! When I started using coupons, one of the first deals I did was getting free TP. Ever since then I just hate paying for something that is going to be flushed away. So yesterday I went to Walgreen's and this is what I purchased.

(2) Cottonelle (12 pk.), $5x2 = $10.00
Get $3 RRs wyb 2
I used two of these coupons first = $.50 x 2 = $9.00
$0.50/1 Cottonelle Bathroom Tissue printable or printable
than I handed the May Walgreen's booklet that is at the front of the stores to the cashier and she scanned the coupon for
$1/1 Cottonelle Bathroom Tissue, exp. 5-28-11
That coupon took off $2.00  ($1 x 2 ) = $7.00
I paid $7.00 plus tax and out popped a $3 RR!
TOTAL COST was $4.00 after RR
That makes it $2 each after coupons and RRs!

Hand over the printable coupons first before the booklet and the coupons won't beep.

Hellman's Coupon!

I expect this to go fast. To print a $1 off any (1) Hellmann’s or Best Foods Mayonnaise (22oz or larger) click here. There is a possibility of using this coupon and getting it for $1.99 at Walgreen's next week. If you can find the bottles.

What's On The Table This Week 5/09

Last weeks menu planning was pretty much a bust. I didn't do anything but the grilled cheese and soup and that was two different days. Part of the reason was I didn't feel well and the other was the girls just weren't going to be home so there was no reason to cook.
Monday - Zesty Mini Meatloaves , Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans
Tuesday -Garlic, Lemon and Oregano Chicken (When I find the recipe I will post, I do this from scratch anymore but haven't done it in awhile.) This chicken is great hot or cold! It is the easiest to make!
Wednesday - Tacos and Burritos
Thursday -Spaghetti and Meatballs with Salad My daughter that isn't a fan of spaghetti works tonight!
Friday - Crescent Dog on a Stick (I loved these)
Saturday -Tuna Sandwiches  I have to do easiest today because we don't usually eat much on Saturday.
Sunday - Ham and Scalloped potatoes-the ham is leftover from Easter
Each week I share my menu and check out what everyone else is having to eat this week on www.Orgjunkie.com
